Rules of Open 2010 LY VHF/UHF/SHF Championship

 

CONTEST DATE:

21 of August, 2010.
CONTEST TIME: 17.00 - 23.00 UTC

BANDS:

144 MHz, 432 MHz, 1296 MHz, 2.3 GHz, 5.7 GHz, 10 GHz

VALID CONTACTS:

All operation in accordance with IARU Region 1 bandplans. Any station may be worked, but to classify, QSO with at least 1 LY station is necessary. Contacts via active repeaters and EME are not valid.

MODES:

CW, SSB, FM.

EXCHANGE:

Signal report plus serial number of QSO, starting from 001 in each band, and WWL - locator.

SCORING:

1 point/ kilometer on 144 MHz, 2 points/ kilometer on 432 MHz,
4 points/ kilometer on 1296 MHz, 8 points/ kilometer on 2.3 GHz, 16 points/ kilometer on 5.7 GHz, 32 points/ kilometer on 10 GHz. Final score is the sum of all points in all bands during the contest period.

CLASSES:

  1. Single operator.
  2. Multi operators.

AWARDS:

Up to three highest scoring stations in each classe from each participating country will be awarded..

LOGS:

The logs in REG1TEST (EDI) format must be postmarked within two weeks after contest period and sent with subject „LY VUSHF2010“ to:

JUDGING The judging of entries is carried out by the LY VUSHF Championship Contest Committee, whose decision shall be final, participants can ask information about errors. Contact could be scored as valid if correspondent's log was not received, but callsign of correspondent is mentioned at least in two different station logs. The Contest Commitee will not count incomplete or incorrect contest exchange, contact with missing information or with a delay time more than 10 minutes. Errors in the callsign and contest exchanges will be penalised by deducting the score, claimed for the pertaining contact.
